The essence of a town

The Museu Etnogràfic i Històric de Figuerola is a recent renovation, with an innovative and attractive exhibition. L’objectiu és that the visitant descobreixi the identity of Figuerola and the seva essència de poble. Els mitjans audiovisuals, la llum, el so i an evocative museography allow us to combine sensations, vivències, records, … that ensue to the histories of life of a poble de pagès in the transit of the segle XIX to the XX.

The exhibition expositiu s’estructura in quatre àmbits. On the outside, there is a gap, it is different in different cultures, which form part of the ethnographic col·lecció of the museum. From the pati, s’accedeix to the vestibul, concerto com a punt de rebuda to the public. Ací hom hi pot conèixer the history of the vila, els seus trets característics i el seu patrimoni cultural i natural. It highlights the exhibition of a representative part of the col·lecció d’arqueològica del jaciment neolític de la Cova del Gat.

In the third dels àmbits, the discourse is centered on the crisis of the cinema and the depopulation of the camp. L’scenografia ens apropa conèixer desesperança d’un matrimoni de pagesos in the moment d’abandon la seva terra. The recorder is complete with the intimate exchange of the currency, with a vee in off of the matrimonial stratègies and between family members to regulate the transfer of patrimony.
